District Recording is a classically designed recording studio located in  San Jose, California.

The studio boasts a 900sq ft live room modeled after famous recording rooms of the 1950s and 60s. Acoustically unique and bursting with character, this room is one of the most memorable in the area. There are also three iso booths attached to the live room to easily facilitate tracking styles of any type.

The control room is built around a gigantic 80 channel Solid State Logic 4000 G+ Console (used to mix the live performances on SNL from 1993 - Early 2000s), Studer 827, Ampex ATR 102, 32 channels of Burl conversion and a wall of classic analog outboard gear.  Accurate monitoring, seamless integration with Pro Tools, and our famous green couch makes it an inspiring environment for any session.
